We are fully certified and trained in the new freon regerant R410A also known as 410A. It is imperative that the new ac systems are installed properlly. We will help you seperate the facts from fiction and get your new 410A system installed RIGHT! The new refrigeration ac systems run on a blended, ozone friendly freon that is called a HFC refrigerant. This means that it MUST use POE oil or Polyester Oil. This oil absorbs moisture very easily and it is critical that the system not be open or exposed to the atmosphere for any amount of time that is more than needed to get the system sealed up. POE oil can not be mixed with the older system oil which uses mineral oil. The 2 DO NOT mix and if they do it will be big problems for your ac system. When the 2 mix it forms a sludge that cloggs the system and blocks the metering device in the ac system. When you use the old lines on a new 410A system you must use a flushing agent that is introduced into the lines and purged out with high pressure nitrogen. Please do not skip this step when installing your new R410A system and your using the old freon lines. If you have any questions or concerns give us a call.
